I'm excited to share that 'The Fluid Nature of Being: Embodied practices for healing and wholeness' is out now, and am proud to have contributed a chapter to this publication.
Edited by Linda Hartley, founder of the Institute for Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy, the book was written and edited over the last three years, and draws on over 30 years of collective somatic practice. Reflecting on the rich and diverse applications of this approach to somatic movement therapy and education, the book covers topics such as dance and creative practice, the body in psychotherapy, embryology and birth process work, infant movement development, somatic trauma therapy, and the connections between personal and collective healing at a time of planetary crisis. My own chapter explores the practice of Authentic Movement as a way in which to deepen our connection to ourselves, others, and the wider planetary body of which we are a part.
