What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a somatic approach to wellbeing, with a deep rooted belief in the inherent health of our bodymind systems. It is known for its gentleness and effectiveness in treating a variety of traumas and imbalances, helping you to reconnect to your body’s natural capacity for healing, self repair and wellbeing.

BCST practitioners are skilled at listening to the expressions of movement and stillness within the body. These rhythms and subtle motions can reveal both the health that is present as well as areas in need of support.

BCST is a form of relational touch work that offers time and space for the developmental of what Stephen Porges named neuroception, which is our body's capacity to orient to cues of safety in order to know into be able to relax into states of ease and connection.

In this way BCST helps your system gently shift from stuck patterns, whether anxiety and overwhelm, or disconnect and shut down, and to cultivate a more regulated nervous system in which we can feel greater ease, connection and safety.
